A new stepdad with one assignment

The setup is a household still finding its shape. A man moves in with his new partner, a strict, traditional mother who wants her grown daughter brought into line. She asks him to be firmer with the daughter, a clever, rebellious bookworm who prefers her own rules to anyone else's. His attempts at discipline create friction, and on Candy Shorts that friction slowly turns into attraction under the family roof.

Where it lands on the scale
